You can rent a bike at one of the TaiR MTR stations, then choose to drop off at either Tai Po or Tai Mei Tuk (for convenient bus or MTR in the opposite direction).

Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark

With the mission of preserving the unique geological formations of Port Thom origin, Geopark includes volcanic rock areas in Sai Kung and sedimentary rocks in the Northeast.

As a result of volcanic eruptions 140 million years ago, the volcanic rock area in Sai Kung possesses many honeycomb-shaped basalt columns and towering peaks. The special thing is that depending on the light of the day, the entire rocky mountain will turn from a light pink color to a pale honey color.

Noah’s Ark Hong Kong Theme Park

A British colony for nearly 100 years, Hong Kong was deeply influenced by Christianity. According to the Bible, the legendary ship Noah once saved Noah and all animals from destruction in the great great flood of God. Noah’s Ark Hong Kong Theme Park is the world’s first full theme park for this story.

Built by billionaire Thomas Kwok and his wife after they converted to Christianity, the giant replica of the Noah moored on the riverbank overlooking the Rambler Canal and the Tsing Ma Bridge of Ma Wan Island. Today, this is one of the coolest, cleanest and most comfortable Christian-themed children’s educational spaces in Hong Kong.
